Saying 'I Do' on the 4th!

It's never my intention to go so long between posts, but the littles are out for the Summer and we are soaking up every second having fun and making it count, so time to come back and post is far and few in between. I have fun pics of Hudson's Lego birthday to share that I hope to go through and edit soon - same goes for our annual Mother / Daughter / Grands week we just returned from.

We made it back just in time to celebrate the wedding of our friends Amy & Daniel on none other than the 4th of July! Fun, fun!  Daniel, Lance and I went to middle and high school together!!
Amy was a GORGEOUS bride and their wedding was full of beautiful details like these gorgeous flowers...
We loved having a reason to dress up! And I love that photobombing cutie in the backdrop!!
My handsome date...
Meanwhile, Noonie and Papa J kept the littles and they had all sorts of fun! Let's just say when we went to pick them up, they did NOT look like this - hahahaha! Grace was soaking wet and wearing one of Noonie's t-shirts {"but it's still red/white/blue" - grandparents, gotta love them!!}
And I have to give a shout out to one of my mom's dearest friends, Mrs. Mary Ann, who send this amazing flag my way just because she knew I would love it!! You are so right, I love, Love, LOVE it!! Thank you so much!! I love your sweet heart and beautiful smile, Mary Ann! You are the epitome of a classy, godly Southern Lady.  So glad God brought you into our lives!
We made up for it on Sunday with Lance's yummy grilling and a day of splashing / sliding / water balloon fighting!

I love catching little moments like this...wonder what they were planning...
Water babies!
Hope you had a beautiful family-filled 4th. I don't know who to give credit to for this beautiful picture, but I LOVE it!  One nation under God...
And may we never forget... Land of the Free, because of the BRAVE!
