On our very last flight before making it home Thursday night, we were stuck in the plane for 1.5 hrs. prior to departure due to some maintenance issues. Not sure whether he did it to give the littles something to look forward to or not, but Lance asked Hudson if he'd like to go to Chuck E. Cheese for his birthday lunch the very next day and you can bet what Hudson replied! :)
I'm not a big fan of CEC mainly because it's always so crowded, but it was soooo nice on a Friday afternoon! No crowds - yeah!

What a couple of weeks it's been!
We spent eight glorious days in Puerto Rico, got home Thursday night just in time for our little guy to turn three on Friday, and I had exactly one day to plan his party which was today!
I have lots of fun pictures to share but this one pretty much sums up how we all feel right now...

My posting has been sPorAdiC and will probably continue to be for a while...we've been out squeezing every bit of fun we can out of the lazy days of Summer!
Last week Grace participated in a small art camp with her friend Caroline and had a blast! They worked with all kinds of different media and learned how to draw objects using ordinary shapes.
This seahorse was her very favorite. It's hard to tell from this picture, but the sea water is textured and grainy, like salt - so fun!

I love making hats, I really do, but it's so nice to be caught up on orders and have a little break!!! This is my last one {on its way to you, S!} until July. Woo hoo!
