San Francisco

We had a lot of fun in SF, enjoying the beautiful weather, visiting Fisherman's Wharf, checking out the cable cars in Union Square (where we stayed), going to the beach, visiting Chinatown, driving around all the hilly streets, and just plain sightseeing.

Pier 39 View of the docks and marina The famous sea lions! Grace LOVED the sea lions. She just kept pointing at them and smiling. For the rest of the trip she would say, "Seals - LOUD" and then make the "barking" sound just like they did! Family Photo Op Love this chowder & chili stand! Check out this cute salt-water taffy store This trip was full of firsts! Here's Grace on her first carousel ride. She's checking out the "horsey" to see what he's all about. The girl working the carousel was so nice, she led us to one of the four horses that actually went up and down and once the carousel and music started and Grace figured out her horsey went up and down she was over the moon happy! One of the many steep hills! Lombard Street, aka The Curviest Street in the World View from Lombard Street Grace was doing this during our drive to the Golden Gate Bridge so our only photos are from inside our car :( Famous cable cars (the SF cable cars are the oldest manually operated cable cars in the world) And finally, Chinatown! We didn't get a good picture, so here's a fun one so you can get an idea. So much fun!! More pics to come!
