with thanks for our freedom...

ThAnK yOU to all the men and women who have fought for our freedom, many paying the ultimate price, and to those who continue to do so today so that we can enjoy this beautiful day with loved ones!

Grace: What are you making?
Me: I'm making a trifle.
Grace: That has 4 layers, it can't be a trifle. It's a "quadfle".

Sadly, no, Ashleigh!!!

You just can't see it because of the sunlight and the way she's standing. After 4 washes I did get it to fade but it's still a mason jar size round spot of yucky pinkish beige :(

I'm going to applique an anchor to cover it up, just didn't get around to it before the 4th!

Had a great time visiting with you yesterday!!
