more good news, 100 years old, Matilda Jane, and more!

My mom's second {and hopefully last!} surgery on Tuesday went GREAT!
She had a much easier time with the immediate post-surgery stuff since they adjusted her meds so she wasn't so groggy and nauseated afterward. She was in a bit more pain the next couple of days but thankfully our prayers were answered that she was able to rest at night. But the best news is this: Her sweet surgeon called the day after surgery to tell us that the pathology report had already come back and there was absolutely NO CANCER present in the tissue they removed! What a sweet blessing from the Lord!! THANK YOU for praying with us that everything would turn out well!

When the results came back so quickly, my thoughts immediately turned to the doctor that processed the pathology...I am incredibly thankful to him or her for knowing how important these things are to those waiting and for possibly working overtime to get results out so quickly. I may never meet you, but THANK YOU for going above and beyond!!

Now some random pics from our week...I've been slacking on posting lately :(

Isn't this saying so true?? Grace's Easter dress came in the mail this week and it had this little tag attached...she insisted I pin it to her mirror. Love it!
Hudson had a Teddy Bear Pajama Picnic at his preschool...check out his "teddy bear" he he he...he LOVES Star Wars!!
There is something so sweet about little girls walking hand in hand...I love to watch Grace and her friends as they make their way to the carpool line. Sure am thankful for sweet friends...
So proud of the little pumpkin for getting all of these except nut/nut...but I have to admit I, too, had a hard time coming up with "nut & bolt"...
Happy Birthday Aunt Marilyn & Jade!!!
Best thing about waking up super early on a weekday??? An impromptu donut stop!! We left the house 30 min. earlier than usual and were able to hang out at Krispy Kreme Friday morning...
It may or may not have been a little bit of a bribe for wearing jeans - ha! This little girl does NOT like jeans!!
One happy boy!
Target has some really cute stuff in the little girls' department...just spotted this mod little dress yesterday...too bad it only goes up to a 5T... the big girls' section is rather disappointing :(
Happy Birthday to one of my dearest friends Bridgette!! We have been friends for 18 years - Wow!
100 years old... Grace's teacher had them dress up as if they were 100 years old for the 100th day of school and take a picture to bring to school for a project...check out this little old lady - ha!
Matilda Jane
Are you a fan?? I saw the line in person yesterday and the colors are SO PRETTY!! These are my favorite pieces from the first release of Good Hart...
And yay for Spring!! {thanks Mr. Groundhog} Hope you have a great weekend!

So glad to hear the good news about your mom! God is Great indeed :-)
What a cute Target dress! My little was is tall and wears as size 5/6 & it's so disappointing to see the styles out there :-( Thanks goodness for Matilda Jane , it's such a precious brand. Love your pics for the spring line, so cute. That 100 year old pic of Grace made me laugh so hard. She did an excellent job on that project ;-)

Love the other photos and sharing that you do also.

That target dress is really cute. I will have to look for it here in Oregon.

I may or may not have spent a small fortune at a Matilda Jane show this morning. Bought several pieces you liked for my daughter and the Clear Skies tank for myself. The whole collection is MUCH cuter in person.
Love that tag for the Easter dress too!

So Glad to hear the great news for your mom! I Love the new MJ line! I like my girlie to look like a little girl and she has just outgrown the little girl section at Target - Boo hoo! The big girls section is just too old looking!

WONDERFUL news about your mom! What a relief! So happy for you all and this positive news.

And, yes, Target's big girl department is very disappointing indeed. So frustrating! I like Michaela to look like a little girl still. Not a teenager. *sigh*

Hoping for better and better days for your mom and family. Let the healing begin!

Thank you all do much for rejoicing with me over my mom's good news!! We are in awe over God's wondrous deeds.

Wasn't Grace too funny as a little old lady???! As soon as she saw herself in the mirror, she wanted the clothes off! Hahahaha

The Easter dress is from Matilda Jane's Platinum line. Not exactly a typical Easter dress, but it was so sweet I couldn't resist! Has the cutest little bunny/mice fabric panel in the skirt :))). LOVE their Plat clothing tags too!

The picture of the "old" lady cracked me up. I love Matilda Jane. I just discovered it and bought a few pieces from the Good Hart line the day it was released. So precious!

Nut/nut...that stumped me, too....did any child get that right?
And what a sweet idea for 100 days day. Your daughter must have stolen the show!
