Dreaming of Fall

Maybe it's because it's so hot outside or maybe it's just because it's my favorite time of the year, but lately I've been dreaming of pumpkins and changing leaves, of Autumn in all its glory.

Some of my inspirations and my sweet little pumpkin last Fall!

If you have a favorite Fall tradition, I'd love to hear all about it!

I lvoe this little collage you put together. That would be really cute as a page in a scrapbook too.

Fall is my favorite time of year too. Our only real tradition is going to pick out pumpkins. As the girls get older, maybe even this year we'll go to a place we can pick them from the vines ourselves.

I love crisp fall evenings, hanging the orange twinkle lights and leaf garland around my front door. Hanging up the fall wreath I made complete with pheasant feathers from one of Dave's unting trips, wearing a heavy sweater and no jacket outside, hayrides with our friends and bonfires, trips to the apple orchard, hot apple cider, bowls of hot home-made soup or chili and watching scary movies like The Village and Sleepy Hollow. Mmmm.....

Oooooh, Angel, picking the pumpkins straight from the vines would be so much fun! Last year Grace (then 7mo.) didn't know what to make of all the pumpkins. Her eyes were open REALLY wide! She finally settled on an itty bitty pumpkin at the very bottom of a stack of pumpkins (bottom left photo) - that's my girl knowing just what she wants :)

I wish we had an apple orchard nearby, that would be fun! We'll definitely have to go for a hayride and maybe even a bonfire! Just talking about it makes me excited!
