quick rewind {our week in random pics}

Creating with Noonie...and later at Sewing Club!
Hooray for girl time with some of my favorite ladies!
Ashleigh~ I still want that pumpkin dessert recipe!!  And the Mexican "lasagna" casserole one too while you're at it ;)
Supporting our friends while stomping out juvenile diabetes...
Having fun with paints and thinking ahead to halloween...
Getting ready for Fall...
{I sure do have the cutest little helper!}
Breaking out Fall clothes and rejoicing over temps no longer in the 3 digits...
...but hanging on to our Indian summer a tad longer.  {I love when I catch this little monkey's shy-sweet smile!}
But don't let that ooey-gooey sweet smile fool ya, he's all-boy too and that comes with unpredictable, super goofy bathroom humor, like "Mama, I have the most amazing toots." Say whaat???  and "Just call me Mr. Mashed Potato.  That's what I want to be called from now on."
Attending back to school nights...
{more soon!}
...and checking out some super cute artwork!
I love how he drew his ears!!
Practicing ballet moves every chance she gets...
...and lovin' his new gymnastics class!
Tough morning at church with these two cuties...
{hmmm...maybe this pic snapped on our way out the door was a hint of things to come?}
The hair color roulette has landed on "dark auburn" for Fall...I kinda like it.
And last but certainly not least...20 lbs. gone! Yay!!!  Still a ways to go...
Happy Monday!

Yeah for you! You look amazing. What have you been doing? The exercise part is easy for me, but the diet....so hard. I LOVE to eat!

Thanks for all the encouragement you guys!!

The halloween fabric is Costume Clubhouse by Sheri Berry Designs for Riley Blake. I bought mine locally, but you can find it here:

Laura~ nothing crazy, just diet & exercise. I've been cooking lots of healthy recipes (mainly found through pinterest) and I've been calorie counting with help from my iphone app Lose It to keep track of everything. For exercise, I've been running. It's been coming off slow, but steady. I've been at it for 11 weeks, so I wish it was more than 20 lbs, but I'll take it! :)

I always love to see your pictures!!! So much cuteness in your house!

Congratluations on the weight loss! I have been doing WW but have stalled out - what is your secret??? I need a jump start but have been having some health issues so I am getting so unmotivated.

Katy~ I may just have to do that...only if others promise to chime in...I'd love to learn of other fun shops!! :)

Ashleigh~ you are so sweet - thank you!! I still have a long ways to go!!

Heather~ Wish I had some super secret but I don't. It's been tough at times, but so worth it everytime that number kept going down on the scale or I could get back into a smaller clothing size (sadly, I have about 4 sizes in my closet!). What made all the difference for me: 1. FINALLY setting my mind to doing it - no excuses; and 2. TRACKING every single calorie (Lose It on my iPhone because it was easier than WW points to me).

I'm sorry you've had health issues - that's so hard to deal with all on its own and especially when you are trying to lose weight. That being said, every picture I've ever seen of you - you look GORGEOUS so I don't think you need to lose any weight!!!! I'm serious too!
((Hugs))

Hi, Cricket! The Blondie was a tough one!! I cut it but had my mom sew it - she said it was definitely not the easiest. Have you sewn the Nelle? It's one of my faves and so super easy! :)

yes i have made the Nelle....but I love the Betsy just as much...it's made the same way but with those sweet bell sleeves!! Just made my lil grand one for the circus today! :) love BG!!
