My baby boy is 2 today!!!Seriously, how did that happen?
I mean, this was just yesterday...This too...And now...Hudson,
You are the sweetest, cuddliest, most lovable little boy I've ever known! Two days ago, during a particularly tough night (you're still not a good sleeper...unless you're tucked in mama & daddy's bed...Aaaah!) you hugged my neck so tight, then said to me, "I wub Mama. I kiss Mama. Wub you, Mommy." You sure know how to melt my heart in one big swoop. You are 100% BOY! You keep us on our toes with all your "adventures", but we wouldn't have it any other way. Just this morning, while we were doing something else, you snuck to the dining room, climbed on one of the chairs blocking the dessert table, carefully removed one of the star cookie pops from your birthday cake, ate it, and hid the evidence. The crumbs on your cheeks gave you away, little stinker!Your vocabulary has just taken off at lightning speed these past few months. It's funny to us to see how you learn new things, then tuck that knowledge away, and bring it out at just the right time to get us to do something you want to do.Just in the past couple of weeks you have started loving Mickey Mouse. Too bad this is a new development or we could have planned a little classic MM party for you. You are just starting to get into Thomas the Train and you love pushing the little engines down the track. You still love your blankies, your favorite food is "macamo (macaroni) cheeeese", you like to roll call for every member of our family every morning, and nothing makes you happier than playing with your "siter" (sister). You love being in the water, blowing bubbles, animal books & Goodnight Moon, and playing with your Daddy. You have such a sweet tooth! You love anything and everything sweet, especially "la-pop" (lollipops) and donuts. You bring such joy to our family and we love you more than words can say!May God bless you and keep you safe and may He help and guide us on how to raise you to be a godly man.
Happy 2nd Birthday, Hudson!!!!
Mama, Daddy & Grace
