Super, our elf, made his first appearance of 2010 this morning!!!
To celebrate, we had our first ever North Pole Breakfast!
There's that little sneaky guy!
He wrote letters to the littles...

...and brought a little treat!
Warm socks to keep those piggies toasty...after all, it's reeeeeally cold in the North Pole!
Daddy read the classic Elf on the Shelf, which reminded us that we can't touch Super...so he brought a little puppet the littles can play with any time they want!
And then it was time for classic North Pole breakfast food...
Snow-covered Donuts...
...and Floating Glacier Hot Cocoa!
He even brough a big Peppermint Kiss straight from the jolly old fella himself...and teeny tiny Kisses from Rudolph and the other reindeer, of course!
The donuts were a big hit...
...but the laughs shared
...and the memories made - like a little someone's first taste of hot cocoa - were even better!
Such a fun morning spent together...
Can't wait until next year's North Pole Breakfast, our new tradition to celebrate the start of the holiday season!
Merry Christmas!
To celebrate, we had our first ever North Pole Breakfast!

Love how cute your table is decorated! And I love the Elf on the Shelf thing! I've been trying to decide if my little girl is big enough to understand it this year. I'm thinking she probably isn't so I might wait until next year to get that book/elf. Thanks for sharing this cuteness!
You are the best Mom ever! So fun!
I agree....I want to be like you when I grow up;)
Oh my goodness. What a fab idea! Michael, our elf, just kinda showed up this year after a dramatic first entrance on our doorstep last year...but this, this cute breakfast idea...if you Turkey Trot with me next year, you can fill my ears with cute ideas!!!
he he he...thank you all so much!
I literally decided to do the North Pole breakfast the night before so I just gathered what I had on hand and made one last minute trip to Target for donuts & marshmallows and then just put it all together, adding the letters to G & H at the last minute. The littles loved it so it was all worth it in the end! :)
Ash~ I SOOOOOo need to do Turkey Trot!!

Most of the tableware (except for the cloth placemats) came from Target! The paper I used for the letters came from Michael's scrapbook section.
This is so sweet. My baby is only one but I can't wait for christmas traditions. LOVE this idea.
I just found your blog today through a pin on Pinterest. I love this idea to have a breakfast w/Super. And I just ordered our first elf on the shelf today from Pottery Barn Kids (free shipping-yay!). Amazon had sold-out.

Hey there! Thank you so much for this! I added a link to your page on mine for an Elf on the Shelf idea compilation that I made. Here is the link: http://kindacrunchymamalife.blogspot.com/2012/11/elf-on-shelf.html I hope that's ok?! Thanks again so much!
love this!!
This is fantastic! We're totally going to start this tradition this year which is perfect because its the first year our elf will appear! Btw I got mine after Christmas last year for half price at target. So for those of u with babies if u can wait its worth it.
How did you move your Elf off of the donut jar?? I thought he couldn't be touched? Just don't want to blow it for my kids, and want to know how you're working around that. Thanks! :)
We've added our own little family rule to the "no touching the elf" rule.
On the first day the elves appear (North Pole Breakfast), the littles can each give a hug to their elf and tell us where they want us to place their elf (mantle, their room, etc.). From that moment on, no touching!
Works well for us! :)
Thank you for your creativity! I borrowed some of your great ideas for our North Pole breakfast and I am linking back to you within my post!
Love all of your ideas! If you have time, stop on over and share this linky and your elf activities in my linkup, too! I will be pinning all the elf post on Pinterest. http://www.crystalandcomp.com/2012/11/the-mommy-club-share-your-resources-and-solutions-72/
THanks, Crystal
