I have to show you my 30 minute impromptu 4th of July table decorations. I just gathered a bunch of stuff I already had on hand and tried to create a little vignette that didn't take up too much table space. Little bit crazy but let's just call it Americana Chic, alright? Sounds so much better already. The little details...
There's that sweet handprint flag again and what says 4th of July more than Pop Rocks... limited edition at that! Then there's that favorite vintage plate again, this time with a cute photo of my baby boy and a mini flag I fashioned out of scraps. I almost finished it by adding a mini Uncle Sam top hat to Hudson's photo (from the cupcake toppers) but resisted. Thank goodness. Some of the sweet vintage linens... Who knew the cupcake holder had so many good functions...cupcakes...artwork drying rack...linen display...hmm, wonder what I can use it for next? ;) And while the handprint flags wait to be turned into a garland, they look cute propped up on the back of the display. I sure like adding aqua blue to the traditional red, white & blue, don't you?
