Picture Day at School
Yesterday was Fall Picture Day at Grace's Mother's Day Out. She always wakes up happy, but she was extra happy and looked so cute in her little candy corn dress I couldn't help but snap a few pictures myself :) Here she is playing peek-a-BOO while I finished getting ready.

So where do you find all of her sweet smocked dresses? Is there one store or various places?

Here in the South it seems that every little boutique carries them - they are, how do I say, a southern staple :)
Since there can be quite a mark-up, I tend to shop for them online quite a bit. Some of the stores on ebay carry them for very good prices.
Some of my favorite brands are Claire & Charlie, Anavini, Amanda Remembered (runs small), Rosalina, and Silly Goose. If I find a style I like, I'll price shop it online by brand name and description or brand name and season (ex. Anavini Fall 2008). I find some pretty good deals that way.
I also like bumbleboutique.com. They will often put dresses on sale 20-30% off even before the holiday. I bought Grace's acorn dress (for thanksgiving) in early October for about 30% off, even though it was a brand new Fall design.
