God Bless America

What a gorgeous weekend this was! We tried to make the most of it by spending as much time outside as possible.

Saturday afternoon, an impromptu invitation by some good friends had us enjoying some good ole' fashion catfish and fun stuff like touch football and bubbles!

As I watched Grace, Hudson, and Abram play, I couldn't help but be reminded of how blessed we are to live in this nation...to feel safe and be able to enjoy spending time with our families in our yards. I am thankful to all the members of our armed forces for their sacrifices that make this possible.

Not sure what this is but it looks like fun. Don't worry Hudson, if it's up to your Daddy, you will be VERY well acquainted with football in no time!

Abram and his daddy Eric playing football. Abram was too cute yelling TOUCHDOWN with his little hands in the air after every throw. Lance, Grace, and Abram. Notice the little pumpkin getting in on the action CELL PHONE in hand. I'm telling you this is a GIRLY girl. Need more proof? Check out the purple play lipstick she put on right before the game :) Bubbles! They could have sat on the front steps and played for hours! I love it! So fun! Thanks for inviting us!

And then today, it was so warm and sunny we decided to break out one of the little pumpkin's birthday gifts and give it a try.

Checking things out......Ready, Set, Go! Back for more! He loved it! This is one water baby for sure!!! It took Miss Priss a little time to warm up to the "car wash" sprinkler. But once we turned down the water a bit she had fun going through. All the while this curious little monkey had FUN IN THE SUN!! Thanks so much Segi for the fun Walk & Spray!
I know how we're spending our Summer :)
